I'm sure there is laready a topic on breaking down my new Mark III. I will find it. In the meantime, would anyone like to offer some secrets? Love the gun, its just a little more intense to take down than my other autos. Thanks for any help. Bruce |
| I've found no way to skimp on the break other than grinding down an old toothbrush to assist with moving the hammer in some stages of the tear down/rebuild. It's kinda like a rotating tires, you don't want to do it(even if you have an air compressor to assist) but if you don't do it it'll cost atleast two more in the end. |

After having a 500rd session the day before, a lot of gritty dirt accumulated inside the frame around the trigger, slide release, hammer etc. So yesterday, I removed the trigger and hammer group from the frame for a detailed cleaning. JEEEZ!!!....This thing was kicking my ass!!!hree I haven't found any shortcuts yet. I think I took the long scenic route last night. |
