No. The front rails are too far forward on the 19 frame. The rails on the Ruger are also too far forward to use a 26 slide. They don’t need to change the locking block to accommodate a 17 length slide if they come out with a 17 length frame. They just need to use Gen 5 barrels and Gen 5 to 3 conversion guide rods for everything. I make my own G49s using Gen 3 clone frames this way. |

Tulammo and Wolf with the rougher polymer coating worked (also the barnaul lacquer coated), but chewed up the inside of the mag body I was using. I actually had failures to feed with the Winchester American steel line, that chalky stuff was too much. Recently I've used my GL9 mags to shoot brass plated steel case with no noticeable difference in loading resistance. Come to think of it I shot some of the Magtech, shiny, zinc plated steel case and some nickel plated steel case from Sterling with no issues either. Long story short, I think the problem was the coatings the Russians use on their steel cased ammo. I can't recall if I tested Blazer aluminum or not. |

Hadn't seen that before. Is that another chassis that clamps around a pistol or is it an actual firearm in it's own right? |

>>The trigger and disconnector are also straight Gen 3 and should be compatible<< Given that, I'm hoping the standard Apex Gen3/4 trigger kit will also work in it. Naysayers be damned, I'm getting one anyway. |

![]() ran like a top today. grip fixes every bitch I've had about the 19 historically. I consider it an improved G19, let's hope the long term reliability is there. |

I picked mine up from Grabagun (379.99 after $20 coupon) and stopped by GT Distributors on my way home to get a G19 magazine (all of mine are G17). Guess who had them in stock? For $379.99? ![]() Oh well, got to take a drive and say hi to the GAG guys, so not a wasted trip. But I figured there'd be no way GT Distributors would have had them already (based on past new releases). |
Picked up mine and promptly came home to see how other slides would work. I also tried out a bunch of different holsters. Rolled all pics into this video:![]() Ruger RXM Slide Compatibility and Holster Fit **SEE DESCRIPTION FOR IMPORTANT UPDATE** |

Seems the obligatory initial dissing of anything new (where's muh waffle maker? where's the stock for the SKS?) has died down pretty quickly and folks are starting to see the usefulness of this setup. If I get one, it'll be when they come out with the G26 sized frames/slides. I'm full up on mid-size double-stacks. I like the TSP texture, especially since it is internally referred to as Titteh Sprinkles.

Here's to hoping this won't be a peice of shit like my Security 9 compact was. Yeah Ruger fixed it but it sucked right out of the gate. Now it's one of my favorite semi compacts. I bought the RxM last night. $399.99+tax Just because it hurts feelers. Glock guys hate it because it's not a Glock and it's something Glock should have done. Sig guys hate it because it borrows that chassis. Ruger guys hate it because they believe Ruger should just give them one. 1911 guys just hate anything that isn't a 1911. But why? But why not? What's so great about it? Everything. Why is it so spensive? Quit being poor. Why don't it shit unicorn glitter? Fucks sake. |

Got mine today....not fired Pros/Cons for me... Pros 1. Slide has good serrations 2. Sights are night sights, perfect height, steel 3. Optic cut is very nice, with multi option pins 4. FCG is a big plus 5. Beaver tail good 6. Trigger, ok slightly better than a Glock, not much 7. No grip hump Cons 1. Grip angle same as a Glock, no improvement would like it to be a little less 2.Trigger area needs some more under cut, most after market frames have done it much better 3.Magwell could use a slight bump, pinky bump to counter the meh grip angle 4. If you mount a optic shorter than a RMR you will have big gaps, front and or rear 5. Magpul mags included hang lower than needed, will only use Glock mags Would have liked to see improvement on the lower, I have less grip area than other guns, need the trigger area undercut more The 45 /17 size frame will probably fit my hand better Attached File |

Have one coming. Will be $440 OTD. I was planning on getting a gen 5 19 MOS, but have been dragging my feet. I love magpul gray parts on all my ARs. Was pleased to see the first offering in gray. I have also been seeing the cool stuff that keeps coming out for the SIG FCU, but wanted a glock related option. It's like they were reading my mind. I am pumped. Held one at a LGS after placing my order with my FFL, it seems great. |
O.K....I sold all my HKs, but I have to keep my Identity!

They updated Gen 3 to include a FCU, love it or hate it, that is pretty interesting, and could mean that this is THE value in Glock handguns going forward, since a replacement "grip" may be a cheap proposition offered by a bunch of people going forward, just like the Sig 320. For example, someone could offer a grip that allows you to use Beretta mags, or Sig mags, etc. |
