Shot a whole host of new guns last night to include the Ruger RXM and Glock 19 Gen 6. About 400-500 rds through each gun. Mostly 115 gr S&B 9mm ammo and about 50 rds of 124 gr HST. No malfunctions on either with factory Glock and Magpul mags. Forgot the mounting plate for my Glock so no optic there but the RXM had an Osight SE. My factory RXM barrel was rusted so I threw on a Faxon fluted/match barrel and no issues with fit or performance. On the felt recoil side, I thought the Gen 6 had a slight edge. Accuracy seemed similar in my hands on both. Overall, very impressed with both guns but I think I'll eventually swap out the FCU into the bigger grip module and turn into a Gluger 45.  |

There's some new take off fcu's on gun broker for $169. I was considering picking one up to run with a compact grip and just swap the slide when I didnt want to carry my G45 size but yesterday I put my fcu back in a compact module just to confirm...a G19 just doesnt work great for me. If I'm gonna carry something smaller than the RXM in a full size module, it'll likely be my 43X or 48 which I much prefer and shoot better than a G19 and isn't a huge handicap with an extra mag. Going back to my XL in a Macro module is an option but unlikely. |

Looks like Lipsey's is offering the RXM with the Aimpoint COA. $1099 MSRP. Wonder what the street price will be. TFB Lipsey's RXM w/COA  ETA: Ok, so I've found the compact in black, OD, and grey with COA at a few places from $781 (Tombstone) to $827 (Bud's). Not bad. Unfortunately I just bought an FDE CZ P-07 from Midway (due in Wednesday) so my gun fund needs to be replenished first lol. |

Picked up the New RXM with the Aimpoint COA for my Son to use in recent class we took together. We went with the G19 lower since he was in CO and is limited to 15rd. Gun ran flawless zero issues all class. I think this Combination is an excellent Value. For just over $800, you get a $400 gun and a $600 optic. Attached File Attached File |

I've had AR barrels like that. 2nding Nitriding Process. Hell one of my Brownells Slides was like that. Only noticable if a bright LED light is shined on it. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Reminds me of how certain lowers look purplish when anodized. |
