I want to thread the barrel on the Ruger for my .22 supressor this is inbound. What are my options?

I tried to disassemble the pistol but after 10 mins of fooling around with the takedown latch I gave up and posted.

Questions:

Is the barrel removable or part of the receiver?

Gunbroker has threaded barrels but they appear to be seperate from the receiver. If the receiver and barrel is one, can the receiver be chucked in a lathe properly to turn down the barrel or do I just buy a whole new receiver that is threaded?

How do you take the damn pistol apart?  Online webite/FAQ anyone know about?

Thanks

Do you have a manual for it? That explains how to take it apart pretty well(getting it back together is the hard part)

I'm a little confused by what  you mean by "reciever"

If you don't have a manual, I'll try to explain how to take it apart. Bend a paper clip  into a hook and pull the latch out. Then swing the whole assembly(for extreme lack of a better term) that you can see on the back of the grip upwards. Then pull the "assembly" down(towards the bottom of the grip) until the pin(the one that sticks out behind your rear sight) pulls all the way out. Pull the slide out. Then take a rubber mallet and tap the very back/upper part of the pistol(barrel) towards the muzzle. The barrel/ejection port  part of the pistol will come of.

I'm no teacher and apologize for all the confusion I probably caused you.
