Does anyone here have experience with this revolver?

I went to my LGS today and they had one. The grip seemed a bit small for my hands though. Is it possible to get a larger grip for one of these?

I've been interested in a Single-ten but I think I would rather have the SP101 with the swing out cylinder over the single loading gate.

I have several Ruger revolvers, and replaced the grips on every one. Many other styles available also. Wood also, if that's what you like.

First thing I do is put on a set of Hogue grips and install a Wolfe spring kit to lighten the double action/single action trigger pull.

My other SP-101's.

+1 on the Hogue grip.  I have them on my SP101 .22lr and .357mag.  I really don't have a problem with the trigger on my SP101's.  Buy two if you can swing it.

I have one that is the new 8 shot 22lr.  It is not as nice as my 6" 617, but it is not as big either.  My trigger is a little stiff in DA, but very smooth in SA.  I have put at least 1000 rds through it and dry fired it some hoping the DA trigger would break in, but it is still stiff.  I like anyway and shoot it now mostly in SA.  Maybe I should try the Wolff spring mod.  I bought the Houge grip to, but I absolutely hated the looks of it and went back to the factory grip.  No big deal since I have young children and the smaller grip is a benifit to them.  It is a keeper for sure.
