How many of you run your LCP with a crimson trace laser on it? Is it worth it or does it just get in the way? Is it needed for the realistic distances of his little pistol?

Have one. Bought it as a package deal used.

The cat loves to play with it. It does also have a certain intimidation/compliance factor to it. Beyond that, mostly useless IMHO.

Got one. work with it for faster acquisition and it will let you reach for a little more effective range

I am alot more accurate with my LCP using the laser than not using it.

The sights on little pocket pistols like the Ruger LCP and Kel-Tec P3AT are totally useless to me at night with my vision.

Crimson Trace Laser Guard takes no effort, the on button is right where you grip the gun anyway, almost no way not to activate it.

It means you can focus on the threat, backstop and situation around you rather than the sights.

Firing one handed, off handed, on the ground, sitting or whatever position you may be in or tracking a moving target are all easier.

Good out to about 20 yards then the small pistol size makes it hard to hold steady.

As you can guess from my screen name I live in a big city. The chances you are going to have to use deadly force probably triple at night.
People who do bad things like the cover of darkness and drug addicts tend to sleep all day and roam around at night.

Found the best price at Optics Planet with a free hat and holster, good service too.

Install was easy and it was dead on, didn't even have to adjust it at all at the range.

I love my LCP / Crimson trace. I am much more accurate with the laser, and I have confidence for nighttime protection.
