Can a none convertable single six in 22 mag be made to accept a .22 cylinder? It's the older style 3 screw, instead of buying a new single six I would like to see if I can throw a 22 lr cylinder in it and call it good. Anybody have any experience?

Call Ruger. They'll probably fit a .22 LR cylinder for a small charge.

My father had an old single six with a 22mag and a 22lr cylinder. He'd swap them depending on if he was taking out the 22mag rifle or 22lr rifle so the pistol would match ammo.
