Over 15,000 rounds...no complaints. I can't ever recall having a malfunction on this gun.
Most of it FMJ, but it eats Ranger, Gold Dot, and HST...no problem. It used to be my CCW, but, it started rusting real bad on the hammer and behind the thumb safety. Mine is stock other than a new Wilson spring kit, periodically. I've been meaning to do some things on it... |
| Swartz safety is the firing pin block that Kimber dreamed up for California sales from what I've heard. It is not needed but is installed on most of thier 1911's. I truthfully have not found but about 4 actual failures reported. Always that possibilty but then there are a lot of things that could go wrong with it or any weapon. |

I found your other posts about it. I suppose if I ever get around to it, I'll send it to Novak or someone like that to have it removed. |
