[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 8 Round mags

What are some 8 round mags that do not have issue with my 1911 Custom TLE II. I have heard that McCormic has issues with kimbers. What should I look at for an 8 round clip.

Also, is there a link to what people prefer to shoot out of their 1911's, specifically Kimbers?

My McCormicks work better than my Kimber factory mag and my Kimber tac-mags.

I have the eclispe and the mocormick works just fine..Just picked up a wilson, but havent tried it yet.

Chips in my Eclipse worked well. Sold the eclipse, bought a warrior, the same Chip McCormics work in that one too.

I think I bought 3 or 4 different mags and played with them all and then bought 5 of the CMs once I was satisfied that they worked.

I use the Tripp Research Cobra magazines and Wilson Combat ETM's in my Pro Carry II. 100% Reliable.

I use Wilson 47Ds and the new Wilson ETMs with no problems in my Kimbers.
the only issues I've heard of about the McCormicks is the split rail followers will gouge the alloy frame
