I want to purchase a Kimber and I was wondering if anyone could help explain what the difference between these two guns.  Thanks!

TLE has a rail.

I own a Stainless 2. I love my Kimber

Kimber TLE II has a steel frame and slide.  The SS TLE II has a stainless steel frame and slide.  Thats about it.  The TLE/RL II has the rail.  I have the SS TLE II and love it, just rember that the barrel isn't stainless and will try to rust on you at the drop of a hat.  Either one is an outstanding weapon.  Enjoy!

The Stainless Custom II TLE has a checkered frontstrap and night sights. The Stainless Custom II has an uncheckered frontstrap and plain, fixed, low profile sights.

My own Kimber is a stainless Pro TLE/RL II. It has a 4" barrel, night sights and a light rail:

... and keep in mind you can order the exact same NS that comes on TLE for around $70 from some place like Top  Gun Supply. That is what I did with my first Kimber, a Custom II. All I am missing from the TLE is the front strap checkering (which I didn't want anyway).

For my second Kimber I got a Pro TLE/RL II.
