Hey folks, I just picked up a real nice looking Kimber.  I am trying to find info about it, but I cannot find any info anywhere that mentions a stainless target.  Everything I see says stainless target II.  This one just has stainless target printed on the slide, no number II following the words stainless target as I see on all others.  Serial number starts K0.  Any info appreciated.  Thanks

No Scwartz safety. This is a good thing...

Was it made in Yonkers, NY or Clackamas, OR?

Either way, I'd love to have it...

Yonkers.
So, what does it all mean?

I don't know about the origin of manufacture, but the "II" series includes the "drop" safety....a block that prevents the firing pin from moving forward without you squeezing the grip safety. Kinda like the "series 80" Colt.
Yours was made before the politically correct version.
