I just ordered a striker spring to lighten the pull on my Kahr MK9. While I had Gunsprings.com on the phone I asked the customer service gal what I could do to my Kimber Warrior to lighten the pull on it. She sold me a hammer spring. Will this do the job I'm looking for? Could someone tell me what is the rated hammer spring that comes standard on the Warrior? Now for the BIG question–––––– is it hard to change? Where can I get instruction on how to do this?

Hammer spring?  You want to swap out the mainspring.

Remove mainspring housing  (you need a punch)
Remove spring cap (you need a punch)
Remove spring (you need fingers)

Reverse to reassemble.

It is marginally easier if you wrap a rubber band around the grip safety, but this is not strictly required.

You can probably go down to a 19# spring and not have any ignition problems.  I swapped in a 20# spring into my old Argentine "sistema" and it made a world of difference.
