I'm picking up a used target II stainless in the next week and was wondering if there is anything I should know about this particular vintage- It comes in the older plastic box with an internal extractor and is marked "Target II." The gun has hardly been used, but is there anything I need to know about the series 80 (?) saftey on these guns? Is it worth it to disable it?
I have a spinger loaded, but when I found this one without a scratch on it for the price they wanted, I figured I needed another stainless 1911  Well, that and my wife is buying herself her first very own pistol- a kimber pro-tactical with internal extractor- and I felt the need to get a kimber too
