| Can someone post a pic of the external extractor and internal extractor that you all speak of, Please. I have a Kimber Custom Stainless TLE/RL II and I have absolutely no complaints about it other than the supplied Kimber mag (Wilson Combat mags fixed that). I don't know what ya'll are talking about when you speak of external and internal extractors. I have carried a Glock 22 for 17 years and just stepped up to the Kimber. I'm driving tac's with this Kimber and have fell in love with it and now I'm worried about what ya'll are talking about concerning extractors. Do I need to go back to my beloved black evil plastic? |
internal extractor: external extractor (see, you can see the extractor bar on the outside of the slide):  FWIW: a lot of external extractors on the kimbers (or "tactical extractors" as kimber marketed em as) do work fine; h/w, compared to when they switched away from the internal ones several yrs back, there were increased amts of instances of the EE not working fine...kimber switched back to the IE a few yrs back |
