Do these only come with external extractors? If it does I won't even consider one..

Anyways, does anyone have one? How do they compare with the Nighthawk GRP Recon and the Springfield TRP Pro Rail?

In the latest Kimber catalog they show it with an internal extractor.

I bought a GC/R when they first came out.  It had the EE and I thought I'd give it a try.  I sent mine back in a few months ago to get it IE'd.  Much better now.  I think the new guns all have IE's.

As far as your question as to how it compares to the other 2 guns...I don't have any experience with the Nighthawk and as far as the Springy goes, I still like the Kimber better.  However, I recently bought a TLE/R to have as a "replacement gun."  Shooting it has me wondering if the GC/R is worth the extra cost over the TLE/R.  The trigger is a little better on the GC/R, but other than that, the only other "obvious extras" are a mag funnel and ambi safety.

Kimber website shows retail at:
GC/RL $1869
TLE/RL $1113
         ---------

That's over $750 difference in retail (I don't recall what dealer price would be)!!!

Yes, the GC/R trigger is "better,"  it has a mag funnel and ambi-safety, while the TLE/R has a plastic MSH (yuck!).  Only you can decide if the price is worhty.
