I read your other thread concerning the Wilson mags. Next step would be a different extractor. Before that though: Can you cycle rounds thru the gun by hand? What I mean is just pull the slide back with enough force to eject the round and release (without riding it forward). Does it go thru an entire mag without malfs? If not then I would definitely suspect the extractor. Any pics of a malf? HERE FOR MORE EXTRACTOR INFO HERE ALSO If it goes thru an entire mag with no malfs, the next thing I would try is a different recoil spring. |
got access to some recoil springs? That "reliability" link above reveals a lot of 1911 'secrets'. Maybe that can give you some more ideas |
the store i got the mags from i think sells them. i'll read some and go from there, that you sir for the input |
You will have better luck with the XD over the CDP II. Both of which I own. However...it's still not a Glock! ![]() Good luck getting the problem corrected. -MEI |
| My Pro CDP II went back to the custom shop 3 times trying to have its feeding problems fixed. I only used Wilson mags, and they didn't work any better than the stock or CM mags. Just before I moved I remedied the problem by selling the thing and buying a Glock 30. Never felt better! |
