Can anybody that has one of these expound on the aluminum frame? do you like it ok and has it cause a problem. Im debating on this or another TLE? thanks in advance |
I own a TLE II. While I have not experienced any problems with mine I have heard other complaints regarding the aluminum framed Tactical. The main complaint is that the farme will show wear in the form of gouges just below the feed-ramp due to the magazine follower digging into the frame. Over time this may become a reliability issue or if anything else, a nuisance. Ragardless, most people go with Wilson 47D's or other reliable plastic-follower mag designs, which would cure this problem. Other than that I would be comfortable with either or (TLE/Tactical). Hopefully someone else will respond that has a Tactical to give more insight on your question. I hope this helps and have a feastful Thanksgiving!
