I plan on getting my first 1911 this summer, and I have always been seen Kimber as the supperior of all 1911's. I like the TLE/2 , just because the fact that the LAPD use them. Does anyone else have any info. on this company and this model. thanks beau |

Why Kimber? They are simply great 1911s. They come from the factory with the most consistent quality, tight tolerances for a factory gun, a superior barrel, and decent customer service. The TLE RLII is a great gun, and in my opinion one of the best rail guns you can get for the money. It's a terrific value. However, keep in mind that holster selection will be limited. I've got 3 Kimbers and a couple of other 1911's. Other than the SA Operator TRP, I don't think there is a 1911 above the Kimbers (Raptor, Warrior, Team USA) on my list. Perhaps my current favorite is the TLE/RL II. I had it refinished in SOCOM Black/OD Green. Not only does it look sweet, the moly coating makes it run oh so smooth. Wich I could afford to do it on all of my guns, Any Kimber you choose will make you happy CHris |
