How much does the disassembly vary between a Series I and Series II? Can I use the Series II disassembly instructions or is there too much of a difference? |

As far as field stripping the only diferance is that the series two has the firing pin block plunger and the series one doesn't . The Series one having one less frame part to worry about. This will help..... www.m1911.org/full_striping.htm |
