I'm new to the pistol world, my first pistol, a Kimber TLE/RL SS will be in my hands on Feb 8th.  I'm currently shopping for some ammo and needs some info from you experts here.

1.  What's the break in procedure?
2.  Do I have to clean the gun before shooting it for the first time?
3.  I own 3 AR15s and 1 AK and have tons of CLP laying around, can I use the same stuff?
4.  What type of ammunition for breakin?

TIA!

Kevin.

as far as cleaning prior to shooting,i always do,no matter which firearm.the break in procedure is as simple as putting 4-500 rounds through the gun.it is in the manual,no specific ammo required for the kimbers i have owned.more to the care and feeding of 1911's than a glock.but aint they pretty.
