Looking to buy Wilson Combat mags for my Kimber CDP Compact II.  Do I need the standard or low profile base plate?  Which one matches the factory mag look?  Any pros or cons of either?  Thanks!

Wilson combat mags work fine in my 5" Kimber, but I get fairly frequent last round misfeeds with light/short bullets (185 gr JHP, etc) in the sub 5" Kimbers.   Consequently, I don't use them in those pistols.

The Wilson Combat mags use a distinctly different approach to feeding the round, that more or less launches it free flight into the chamber with a lot less controlled feed than a wadcutter or hybrid feed lipped mag.

Oh, good to know.  Maybe I don't need them then.  I just ordered the gun and heard that the WC mags were a nice upgrade.  Didn't know they may not help with some Kimbers.  Thanks for the info.
