I shot my new Special Edition Ultra Carry II today for the first time. The only .45 I have owned was a Glock 30. Let me tell you the difference was night and day. I got the UC II because I wanted it as a main carry gun so I wanted a 3" barrel. This thing was like shooting a stick of butter, if that makes sense. It was way more accurate than I thought it would be and I didn't have one FTF or FTE using PMC 230 gr. ball ammo. Love this gun!!!! |

I've found the UC II to be very reliable, easy to carry and easy to shoot as accurately as my 5" Government sized 1911s. I shoot nothing but 230gr. ammo in all of my 1911s and the UC II has only a small amount of added recoil over the big guys. Oh, BTW Congrats! |
