Can I put a new style safety on a mk1 desert eagle? My hands can't really move the safety with a regular shooting grip in one hand. Can I put a new style slide release into a mk1 too?

My understanding is that the new safety will retrofit to the older guns. However, since MR got bought out by Kahr, who knows when you'll actually be able to get any of the parts.

Well I put a order in for them a minute ago, I'll be happy if I get in before September.

Got my parts yesterday, put them in and it is 100% better. If anyone has a mk1 DE they need to upgrade the safety and slide release.
