The baby of the Desert Eagle family offers an excellent handgun value and plenty of firepower. Just like the Desert Eagle, the Baby Eagle features a barrel with polygonal rifling to reduce barrel wear and enhance contact between the bullet and the bore. The grip is exceptionally comfortable and well-liked by shooters.

The Baby Eagle is available in 3 calibers, with variations resulting in a total of 9 separate models. The compact (short frame and barrel) and semi-compact (short barrel) pistols have the same excellent shooting characteristics as the standard (full-size) Baby Eagle and are ideal for shooters with smaller hands. All Baby Eagles are black and all are made of steel except the versions with polymer frames. All Baby Eagle magazines hold 10 rounds.

This "Baby" Desert Eagle pistol has slide safety, decocker. It is a double action/single action pistol.

This black steel model is nicknamed the "full-size" or "standard" Baby Eagle. It is the largest of the Baby Eagle models.

For more specs on this particular model please visit the "Baby" Desert Eagle home page and click on the specifications tab.

Suggested retail $499.00

Check out this website for more info. For the 2 years that I have own my B.E., it has never misfired nor jammed ( Federal and Winchester ammo). It is very easy to disassemble for maintenance and fits small hands nicely.

I've got a Baby Eagle Polymer .40 cal that I may be interested in selling.  It's a great shooting gun.  I've only got a couple hundred rounds  shot through it and never had a problem.  What part of Florida are you in??  Let me know if your interested.

I'm only a couple days late...

I've got a steel framed fullsize Baby Eagle with over 3000 rounds through it.  I've only had it for about a year and a half, but it's one badass little gun.  Most accurate pistol I've got, very "natural" shooter, and pretty sturdy.  I do not like the new polymer framed ones, but "supposedly" they are a hair more accurate.  (This is a general dislike for polymer guns than any specific problem with this model.)

Definitely one of the best bargains/values on the market today.  I can't say enough good things about them.  The one bad thing is it only comes with one Clinton-mag, but you can get factory IMI/Mag Research 15-rounders (they really hold 17) at CDNN for 30 bucks a piece.  If you get one, you will likely love it--most people that end up with them love them!he)

my wife has the baby in a 40 she likes it , i love it. i am trying to get enough to get me my 44 mag....but the baby is a slight on the heavey side for a pistole especially compared to the glock but its forgiving in my opinion

Run!!!

I had a Baby Eagle polymer. Numerous problems with FTE, and then every other shot the mag would fall out.

Returned it and got a 1911.

Just bought the same pistol as the baby eagle 9mm 'compact' made by Jericho ( 941FB ). Should be here in a week, I'll give a range report then. If all goes well, I'd like to add a Jericho 941FS or 941F in 9mm to the growing collection. :]
