After 70 rounds of flawless functioning my extractor desided it was going to give up. Now it just flopps and wiggles in it's little spot on the bolt.

How do you break down the bolt and do I need a new spring or something?

BTW do all the little 04 stamps on the barrel and receiver mean its a 2004 model?

Sorry its taken so long for me to reply. Your best bet is to knock out the pin in the middle of the extractor. Be careful though...theres a spring in there.

Well I took the pin out of the extractor and a bunch of crumpled rubber pieces fell out

I tried making a replacement out of a piece of bouncy ball but it didnt cut it. I guess Ill just have to try some sort of spring. Maybe an AR extractor spring

Or you could contact magnum research??? Surely they can get you what you need. Might as well replace the mag springs and gas system springs as well.
