Am I missing something? I read the instructions, use suppled tool press down on the pin at the bottom of the grip and push the grip itself backwards. It won't budge? What am I doing wrong? I have set of Hogue grips I want put on it.

I have the hogue grips also. I know the factory grips are hard to remove. Try posting this same question from the link below Edit--found better linkgrip removal p088.ezboard.com/fthedeserteaglefrm1  Frank |
Great, the link was helpful, got the grips off then snapped the Hogues on,, big mistake, I didn't put that little gadget into the grip first that holds the scres. It was easier to take the stock grips off then the Hogues, got them off, put in the gadget and tighted the screws. One thing for sure, I doubt these grips will ever just fall off..
