Well, I've been looking at the HK45 and HK45C ever since they started doing reviews in all the magazines talking about how they were to be entered into the pistol trials for the .mil.
I decided to go with the HK45C. I picked it up today, and I have to say, it is a very nice looking handgun. I am super excited after buying the gun, because I didn't realize it had a decocking function until I got it home and read the manual. I like being able to drop the hammer after chambering a live round without using the trigger and thumb. Tomorrow I'm taking it to the range to see how it shoots... I have to say, I hate the night sights. They are hard to see. I took a look on Trijicons website, and it seems they have made some tritium sights for the HK45C and P30. Does anyone know where I can get a set of these??? I'd show a pic of the handgun, but I suck at taking pics, and it's just like all the others out there. :P |
| I picked up a HK45 today...will take it out tommorrow for a range session. I hit the sights with a flashlight for 5 seconds. Darkened the room and they were really really bright. Think they are suppose to last for a couple of hours. Looked at the HK45C also, will probably end up with both....ughh. |
