I am going to purchase a GG&G rail adapter for my USP Compact, and am in the market for a light.
Obviously, the adapter opens up a lot more options than the proprietary system, but my main issue is aesthetics. I am looking for a light with minimal overhang. Not so much with the light itself, but with the actual mounting bracket, if that makes sense. I have read nothing but good things about Insight, and I saw that they have the X2, which seems to be a tiny little thing. Their M2 UTL model is designed for the USP's, but hangs over on the compact. My question is, would the X2 be compatible with the GG&G rail? I assume it would be. And also, has anyone done it? Any pics?
