They have some for a nice price.  They say they are variant 1, but they have bobbed hammers?  How can this be?  I've only seen var 1 with hammer.

Thanks,
ric

USP compacts come with bobbed hammers.  You can switch it out for a full size USP spurred hammer if you want.  CDNN has those hammers for about $10 on their "HK Parts" section of the website.

Know your product, know your product, know your product.  If you don't know how your gun is supposed to come from the factory then one cannot buy a gun without taking a huge chance.  It is a good thing you asked because it is clear you are unfamiliar with the product in this case.  As Mav said, all USPC come with a bobbed hammer unless it is V9 or 10.  They are the only two variants that have spurred hammers.  Since the Compact is for CC, it has its hammer bobbed unlike the full size V1.
In this case asking has kept you from passing on a great product at a great price.  If one passed on this gun because they thought it had been dickered with, that would be a huge mistake.  They are indeed factory new at an outstanding price. The only fault with them is they come with three 10 round mags.  I hate that since I have no use for neutered mags.  But, if in a 10 round state, 3 ten round mags really sweetens the pot especially at that price.

The neutered mags are the only sticking point on this.  I would rather have full capacity.  At 40/pop, I will have an investment of 550+13+25+80 (mags) to total 668.  I can probably find a used one FTF around that price, maybe a little better, if I keep my eyes peeled.  I may pass on this deal.

Careful.  The Compact in.357 SIG is no longer imported so the longer you wait, the less likely you will find one NIB and the price is going to go up.  Don't delay too long.
There is nothing wrong with the 10 round mags and they make very good range mags.  I don't like it coming with the 10 round mags either but if I had a hankering for the Compact in .357 SIG now is the time to move and this is the deal to move on before the NIB supply dries up and the price starts to climb.

Funny this thread should pop up, I have a NIB at a good price on the way.

I realllly want to shoot it, but it may just end up as a safe queen.

You know, I was thinking I should buy one just to put in the safe.  Surely they will go up.
