Are the USP 9mm, 40sw, & 45ACP USP frames the same? Can I place either complete upper on the lower frame to switch calibers?

the 9 and 40 are. The 45 is bigger.

You can do that with the 9mm and .40 by swapping out the top ends on the same frame but by the time you buy the entire top end you will have spent as much or more than if buying the entire pistol from someone like Bachman Pawn and Gun or CDNN.

Thanks Guys. I have a USP in 40 and a USP in 9. I swapped the upper and mags and everything hand cycles fine. I haven't tried to shoot it with the swapped uppers.
Good to know that the 9 and 40 are compatible and the 45 is not.
