I have a USP, thinking about trading it, but I like the features of the usp...

I know P30 is 9mm only, but it looks like P30/P2000 are about the same size...

What's the difference?

Any help appreciated!

i have not seen (physically) or held a P30 yet

h/w, from what i've heard and read, its basically an upgrade to the P2k

full spec rail on the bottom, spider man grip (thats suppose to be more grippy and better vs the std P2K), along w/ the std interchangable backstraps, ambi everything, etc

the overall ergos and controls are supposidly more user friendly--larger ambi mag release, smoother ambi controls vs the older blocky ones, the P30 is a tad taller (~1/2" i believe) vs the std P2K

mags of the P30 will fit the P2k, but i heard it does not work vice versa

this link might provide a little more info:

hope this helps, good luck

FWIW: i'd keep your USP for now and wait/save up for the P30--i dont suspect any kinks in the P30, but it is new, and sometimes, even good companies have some initial problems w/ new stuff
