$10 part and five minutes. Order the V1 detent plate, part number 214099 and use the instructions for detailed stripping linked here but of course, only go as far as needed to replace the detent plate. Short instructions: Unload and remove the slide. Push detent plate pin in until it clears the plate. Lift out plate but be careful, it is under spring tension. Put in new plate. Push pin back in. Re-install slide. Go shooting. Yes, it really is that simple. |
| thanks big-bore. i didn't know it would be that easy. once it comes in i'll get the part ordered and try to post some pics. i cannot wait to get it. i was really getting tired of hearing you guys talk about how nice the tac was - ha. now i plan on being one of those guys. |
