I'm looking at getting a USP and a USPc, but I can't seem to keep the variants straight. I want to get both of them right handed with the capability to carry cocked-and-locked as well as the decocker. I believe it's variant 1, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any information. |

Variant 1, is DA/SA with the decocker and safety for a right handed shooter... i think that's pretty much standard... it's how my USP45 came and every USP i've ever handled... Wikipedia Article on USP |

Odd = right hand Even = left hand They are in pairs, 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, 7 & 8 (8 not imported), 9 & 10. 1=DA/SA safe/decock, what you want. 3=DA/SA decock only, no safe. 5=DAO safe only. 7=DAO no control lever. 9=SA/DA safe only, no decock. This for the safety riding 1911 crowd. |
