You guys need to hang out more on HKPRO. The reason the pictured pistol looks so damned bad is because of bad lighting. We almost got sick on HKPRO over that picture but then we were reassured that it was bad flash photography. It is really the tan version just like the tan USPs and Tacticals. Still looks like crap IMO but not anywhere near as bad as that picture.

it is not the color that makes that look sick, but the shape, the finger grooves, and that sisssy design for grip they got going there.

No more SOCOM pistol period. The .gov suspended all requests. See the main handgun discussion forum for the thread.

I suspect no HK45 anytime soon, at least not until the trial at least begins again and assuming HK even wins it.

I agree that the "spidey-grip" has to go in favor of the older design. However, it sounds now as if the entire HK45 pistol's future may be in question now that the JSP contract has been put on hold. No idea if HK has plans to release it to the public for commercial sales yet. You'd think that would be the smart idea since it would help recover the R&D expenses but with HK, you just never know.

I really like the design and think they are great looking pistols. They will introduce a black one as well...I'm not a fan of colored frames!

Where did you read that?

The P30 is being inspected by the ATF (I believe) for importation.

I don't think they would scrap the HK45 project...but we have yet to see...
