It's my first HK I've ever owned, and unless the assault weapon ban dies in CA, it's likely to be the last, unless they come out with a pistol that works for me. I'm a fan of their rifles and some of the sub guns, but not of the current crop of pistols - they just don't feel right to me.

I've wanted it for years, and finally one is mine, ALL MINE!!

The only problem is that I want another one now... <sigh>

Looks like mine!

Congratulations!  Have you shot it yet?  When you pull the trigger the first time and hit dead on it is a fine, fine moment.

Amazing handgun!

I haven't taken it to the range yet. I just purchased it from a fellow ARFCOMer as a self-bought birthday present, and brought it home two weeks ago.

I'm taking my girlfriend's family to the range on Wednesday, so I'll be sure to bring it along.

nice
So what did that set you back if you don't mind me asking.
Only because the prices seem to vary

Little over $1,000, with one mag (only down side), original box and cleaning parts and manual, in excellent condition (the parts in the picture that look like wear marks are oils I didn't wipe off very well), shipped. It's a 1995 made model, and looks new.

Since I've been wanting one for a long time, and this one popped up and looked great, and nicely coincided with my birthday, I jumped on it. The price seemed within the ballpark of reasonable. The trigger is crisp, breaks like glass, and darned near everything is spotless - the only real wear is on the frontstrap, and it's just barely anything.

You'll find this to be an amazingly accurate gun with even cheap ammo!

CDNN has mags advertised, no clue if they have them in stock or not?????

An HK P7M13 was the very first HK I ever fired.  An NCO took me under his wing and introduced me to some fine firearms at my first duty station.  I have never forgotten his P7.  Took me over 15 years, but I did get one.

The P7 is the sports car of semi auto handguns.
