I downloaded the 2005 CDNN catalog and they have Full size HK USP 45 for 672.00. I'm wondering if this is new? Anyways, it's on page 10. My local dealer has the full size for $850 and I'm trying to find a cheaper price online for a new one. BTW does anyone know dealer price for this weapon?
TIA

I cant speak for anyone else, but cdnn has UPS's for the same exact price as the place I works get them for. In other words, for us, $672 is dealer cost for us.

So, if my gunsmith will do the paper work for $20.00, I could get a new USP 45 for $692.00 plus shipping? I find it hard to believe!!!!! Do you know anyone that has purchased from them? I have been stuck paying a pawnshop whatever they want for soooooo long!!!!!

Before you get your hopes up, call and see if they actually have them.  The tacticals are sold out.

They have them in stock, we just ordered 5 of them yesterday. No other distributor has any 45 USP's in stock right now. At least no one we know of that carried HK... RSR, Ellet Bros, AcuSport, all out.

Im sort of wondering if they just let them run out on purpose, because of the new model USP? Thats just a WAG though.

Is there any major difference in the new model? If not, I'm calling them first thing Monday.

Biggest difference seems to be the picitinny rail instead of HK's old propritary rail. new model also has a P200 style frame with adjustable grip sizes. Slide my be a little more rounded off. There's a huge thread about it just near this one. There's pics in there.

Are you sure you're talking about HK USP? I got CDNN catalog in the mail today. It's on page 10, doesn't have the interchangeable grip nor the picatinny 1913 rail. Never seen a USP with the picatinny, it's not on HK website either.

I didnt say CDNN had the new ones on sale, I didnt even say the new ones would be for sale. I just said there is a shortage on current model USP's right now (like the ones for sale at CDNN) and MAYBE it was b/c they'll be replaced with the new style. Again, thats total speculation though.

Well we're talking about CDNN so looks like you're talking about new cdnn USPs.

Anyways, I'd like to see a picture of USP with the new rail, otherwise...

There is no new model USP that I have heard about.  The only ones that I know of with the rounded off slide and the standard rail is the P2K/SK series and the new just announced P3K series.  From all I have heard there are no changes in the offering for the USP lineup.

Thats the new gun I am talking about. Looks like its just called the HK45. No USP about it. All Im wondering is if production of this gun is the reason its a little hard to get USP 45's right now.

All of our regular channels are out of full size USP 45's and have been for a few weeks. That's never happened before, and its one of our best selling guns. CDNN was the only place we checked that had any USP 45's. Something must be causing the shortage, and Im trying to be careful about making sure people know Im not saying its because of this new HK45, while still wondering aloud if it is.
