Where's the best place to buy 12rd mags for an HK USP compact in .40? I've seen prices ranging from 39.99 to 50+ and was hoping for better deals. does anyone have a "hook up"? |

I am unsure on magazine interchangeability between the different models, will these fit the Tactical? www.cdnninvestments.com/hkusp4512maw.html Thanks for the help. Edit Sorry I found the question answered in the forum. |
They're on order...with no projected delivery date ![]() Customer service guy says this doesn't mean they won't be getting anymore...it just means their vendor hasn't given them a date. I guess this means I have to check every other day until I see something? sucks... |
The USP .45 and the .45 Tactical magazines are identical except for the floorplate. The ones that come with and are marketed towards the Tactical (and the Elite, and Expert) have the finger grip base. The standard one just has the flat base. Other than that there is no difference, and you can swap out floorplates if you wish. I understand that the MK23 mags will fit the USP frames (all the above), but unless you change the floorplate there will be a gap, and that hte USP mags won't work with the MK23 due to some differences in the feed lips. |

I am unaware of the lips being different from the usp 45 to the mk23 (I've had the usp45, 45 tact, and the mk 23) and as far as I know the floorplate on the 45/ and 45 tact will not permit you to use it in the mk 23 due to the offset. But you can use the mk23 one in the 45, and 45 tact. (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) As far as magazine prices, you can look around and find the factory HK usp 45 mags for about $45.00-$55.00 as well as the Mk 23 mags (12rd). This is the cheapest I've found them. By the way, I'm new here and was wondering if there is a buy/sell/trade section anywhere here? Have a couple .40 usp expert 16rd mags want to get rid of (bought them after the asw ban expired as they are marked LEO but doesn't matter now that the ban is no longer in effect...depending on what state you are in). |

rob78........... Check with Cal's Sporting Armory I have purchased many magazines from them, including 13's for my P2000. They are a very dependable HK mag source - although maybe/maybe not the cheapest. Hope it helps. |
Impact guns is neither cheap or well-respected here. If you work for them (I noticed you've posted this link at least twice) might I recommend some considerable changes in the customer service department as well as in retail management. High prices coupled with low inventory and mediocre (at best) customer service means I won't be buying anything from them until changes are made. there are far better vendors who support this site and have exemplary track records with members here. Not to mention their "more than fair" pricing practices. |

More like 3 or 4 times. I'm pretty sure he's trying to make money by posting that link. Look at it in the status bar when you mouse over it. See the word "affiliate" and "id". He probably gets a few pennies everytime someone clicks it. I've already notified the mod of my suspicions. |
