I picked up a CC9 last week, finally got to shoot it today. Didn't even clean or lube it. 50 rounds of 124g FMJ and 50 rounds of 147 FMJ with no issues. Using both the 12rd ext mag and 10rd flush mount was ok, but definitely prefer the extension for a tiny bit more grip. Overall it seems to be a much better "compact" for conceal carry than my bulky VP9SK. I have a Sig 365 with WC grip I need to shoot side by side to see which one I like better. |

They did not seem to have a page describing the sight layout for the Holosun edition, whatever that is called. Either way I will change out the fronts but buyer beware? Put 150 RDS through mine for the first time yesterday. No function issues with either mag. First mag, accuracy was pretty poor. Probably me. Afterwards, the vast majority made a ragged role about the size a golf ball from 7yrds albeit a touch left of center. A very slight drift of the rear sight should rectify that Not as accurate as my VP9SK but a whole lot smaller. Accuracy On par with my G43X and easier to shoot than my P365, the latter of which will be for sale soon! |

Just picked up my CC9 from Bass Pro. I’m going to try and get to the range this weekend. I will say the pistol fits nicely in the hand, I really like the high vis front sight (EPS carry green dot going to be mounted), the mags are good, but the range will tell the story. I’m going to compare it between my Glock 43x, Glock 48 and Sig 365XL and see how it shakes out, more to follow. |

Tried one yesterday along with a Hellcat Pro, 365 XL and a Canik MC9. Have a Hellcat, p365 and a 365 Fuse as well but didn't bring them. Nice but not enough to make me ditch the 365 platform, esp since I have several in various sizes. Seems like better accuracy at 7 yards but just barely. 4 years too late. |
| Played with one a little at the store but haven't got to shoot one yet. Feels really good in the hand, grip area still super irritating. Seemed like it had a ton of empty takeup on the trigger pull when dry firing, much more than VP9s. |

I’m now about 250 flawless rounds through mine. Accurate and the fastest Mozambique’s I’ve run in a long time! Natural point of aim, soft recoil. It’s a keeper. Running it in a MASC OWB leather holster I bought off Amazon. This is the second MASC holster I’ve bought…the other for a USP-c. These are made and shipped from Turkey and are pretty damned nice for the money…great fit. Has replaced my G43X for daily carry. |

Test fired a CC9 and was hooked. Not snappy like a normal micro / sub compact, feels great in the hand. So had to pick one up. Ordered a spare grip frame as well, to potentially experiment with stippling (don't think will need it). Have a Kirkpatrick Leather holster on the way (Texas Strong Side, an OWB Askins / Avenger style), my preferred holster type.

I got to fondle one today. Felt good in the hand. I have larger hands and all 3 fingers fit well on the grip/magazine. Shifting my hand to do a 'reload' allowed the mag to drop free which is usually a problem on micros with the extended magazine/ grip. Appeared thinner than what it is speced at. |

Been wanting something smaller than my M&P. These weren’t really on my radar but I ordered one and a holster last night. Got it shipped with tax for the cost most places are selling it at before. HK sells all replacement parts for them should you ever need it too. The mag extensions also aren’t comically big like most other guns. It comes with better sights than most of the other options. It has backstraps which almost none of the others do. P365: It seems to have got through its initial teething, but guys with high round counts are still having problems. The XL model I would have been interested in is more than I paid for the CC9. Yeah it’s $100 cheaper for the smaller version, but all the small parts are also made in India. G43X: If I was forced to pick one pistol brand it would be Glock, but the G43X is bigger with less capacity. The 15 round mags have spotty reliability. FN Reflex: Felt good in hand but FN’s history of abandoning pistol designs combined with how hard they look for reasons to deny warranty claims was a no go. Springfield Hellcat: Didn’t feel good in hand, and I’ll be honest, I hate the XD and it’s basically a micro version of it. S&W Shield: Truth be told they just didn’t do it for me when I shot one years ago. On paper they look good, but I honestly hated it. It felt bad in my hand and shot worse. S&W Bodyguard 2.0: This was a hard choice. These guns seem to be stupid flat shooting, but 380. What makes them so good also makes them less appealing. I don’t want to add a new caliber, especially one less capable for carry. If I don’t like the CC9, definitely going to try this though. I’ll just have to find out if the hate is justified myself. This wasn’t a feel good purchase like most guns, it was a logical assessment of what I wanted in a new carry gun. I’ll report back with my thoughts on both my approach and the gun itself. |
| Picked up a cc9 about a month ago with a Tencore velo5. This is the most comfortable aiwb carry set up I have ever put together and it disappears with shorts and a tshirt. The gun shoots very well, nearly as good as a full sized gun. Recoil is minimal for a pistol this size. I am a fan and will be carrying this for years replacing my glocks. |

Initial thoughts. I read and watched many reviews on how stiff the slide release and mags are. If you’re a prospective buyer, just know they’re not exaggerated. Not using a loader they’re sharp in all the wrong places and loading these mags really is as bad as people say. The slide stop is incredibly stiff, but also very sensitive. Meaning if you’re even brushing against it, it will fail to lock back. But with the way the frame is contoured if you’re a high thumbs guy it’s a total non issue. The thumb inset is much higher on this gun than it is on most others so it’s built to be shot high thumbs without interfering with the slide stop. I love this approach. Both of these issues will hopefully be taken care of with use anyway. That aside, I have no complaints. The midsize between a 365 and XL is exactly what I hoped for. It disappears on me. It feels very good in hand. The trigger perfectly fits what I want for a compact carry gun. I like the sights. I have no trouble reaching the mag release as some have stated. My holster covers the mag release button so the release can’t get hit by accident. I was worried about grip texture but it locks in my hand VERY well. Now just to see how it shoots, but I’m glad I chose this over the 365 initially. Unless it shoots like total ass, I’d say ignore the hate. This thing is fairly well thought out beyond just making it small. Attached File I hope they expand the line and come out with some longer frames/mags and slides. I’m already curious what a full-size model would be like. ETA: Additional observations. I can squeeze this thing like I’m trying to break it and not get the fatigue shakes. Also didn’t even realize it uses the longest frame rails I’ve ever seen in a pistol. I’m in love with this thing so far and really hope HK comes out with a 4” slide with a full length dust cover and a 15 round capacity. It absolutely sucks I have to wait another week and a half to shoot it. |

Love the way this shoots, but I've been disappointed with the holster selection for this. I've got a Black Arch Protos-M coming that I hope will be satisfactory. That said, I'm considering going back to a P365. Especially now that there is a Raider package for it. |

Picked one up a couple weeks ago for $575+tax. Hit the local indoor range this morning and put 187rds through it, mostly 124gr Blazer Brass plus a mix of 147gr HST and 124gr +P GDHP. No failures, no issues with the slide stop. I haven't been excited about a gun in quite some time, but I think I'll be getting back into a cadence of hitting this range every couple of weeks to really get to know this one. Also made a holster for it.

So I unloaded and reloaded my mags a few times over the past week hoping it would loosen them up. Even with a loader and my body weight, there’s not nearly enough room to even try to start feeding another round. I can hear and feel the follower bottoming out too. So just know going in that there’s some inconsistency in the mags. I might look into trimming the follower but to be honest, the amount of movement before the mag bottoms out isn’t even enough to clear a 22LR, so not sure I even want to bother. |
