There is no JF for the .45 ACP per se.  Go to HKPRO and search .45 Jet Funnel for tons of info.
In short,
If you put the JF on the .45 you need to either shorten the grip frame or make a spacer for the hammer strut.
There are no mags that will work with the JF when on the .45 so you need to modify the floor plates or have custom floor plates made so they will work with either full cap or 10 round mags.  It is a whole lot of trouble and you do not gain any rounds like you do when you put the JF on the 9mm and .40 and then use the "white" mags.  There are no increased capacity mags for the .45.  If you are using mags modified like my frankenmag 17 round .45 mags or the Pro-Mag 20 rounders then you will need to put the JF on the .45 and then make a small spacer to take up the extra room between the bottom of the hammer spring and strut and the top of the JF lanyard loop.  If you are certain this is to be permanent addition you can cut your old lanyard loop to make the spacer but it will be trial and error, and hopefully not a lot of the later, or you can make a small spacer out of nylon tube or aluminum tube that will allow the spring to set on top of it and the hammer strut go down through the center.  I think the spacer needs to be about 1/4 inch thick but that is not a firm measurement so you will have to fit it likely several times.

Yes, I had a welder I know take two of my 10 round mags, cut the top off of one and MIG (TIG welding is better but if you are a really good welder it can be done with MIG) weld it to the bottom of the other.  All you ahve to do is clean up the weld inside and out and use a STI 170 mm spring it turns two 10 round mags into one 17 round mag and functioning is 100%.  I took 10 USP mags, two SOCOM mags, and two USPC 40 mags (used a 140 mm STI spring) and converted them all this way.  All held 17 rounds in the end and all functioned 100%.
