For those of you who have installed the H&K factory match trigger linked below, I'd like to get an idea about where it took your DA and SA pull weight down to?

Thanks!

pretty good video

He tests all them.

Pause video at 9:49 if you don't want to watch it all.

IMO it's a worthwhile upgrade, I have it in my USP45 with the LEM hybrid.

I measured my SA action pull at 3.5 pounds. I didn't bother measuring the DA pull. While not as crisp and light as my SA Para Race gun it works and feels fine.

According to the description it gets the DA pull down to app. 7.5 lbs.

Is that realistic?

Use the video I linked.  That is an actual measurement of the match trigger in two different pistols.  Don't know anything that could be more helpful than that

Yeah I've saw the video.

So I am guessing that 7.5 LBS as advertised is unrealistic?

I've installed that kit on both a 9mm SD and a 45 Tactical.  I tried measuring the DA pull on both but my Timney trigger pull gauge maxes out at 10 lbs.  Edit: The SA pull on the 9mm is 3.5lbs and the 45 is measuring around 3lbs.

I've heard that the kit isn't a drop in like an AR or say Glock/M&P and needs to be "fitted"/tuned" to get the best performance.

After about 35/40min on Google and reading some forums I hear Bill Springfield is the go to guy for trigger work at an amazing price.

Anyone else use him?

You mean the guy that sells AR triggers that double and triple and uses spot welds all over his work?

Bruce gray is your go to HK trigger guy.  I've handled both, shot both....no comparison.  Bill Springfield is only good at devaluing guns and making them unsafe.

That's the guy, as long as the trigger pull is light and short I'll be happy.

So safety and quality isn't a concern on your HK?

Well there we have it, go forth and good luck.

I sent 4 AR triggers to Bill. Two came back great and two of them doubled endlessly. I won't use him again.

I need to look Bruce Gray up.

Be prepared for a wait.  Need to get my P30L sent off to him....

I would not go with Bill Springfield.  Here's to still hoping B. Gray puts out some drop in parts sometime in the next decade.
