I have been wanting a usp compact in 9mm for a long time.

Now that the HK rebate is here I have no excuse not to buy one.

My only issue is which version to get?

I carry a G19 CCW right now and have for a long time.

 Ideas?

I'm partial to the v1.  Different to what your used to but you'll get used to it.

While your at it I'd check out the vp9.

^This!
V1 - probably the most versatile safety/decocking design.
You can carry the gun every way you prefer.

LEM. Same trigger pull every time, no safety to deal with.

My .40 is V1.  I've been thinking about swapping out the detent plate to a V9 which is safety only without decock.

Swapped my USPc 40 from LEM to V1. Prefer the V1 way over the LEM. The LEM is nice, but I just prefer SA/DA and the V1 allows you to carry cocked and locked SA which is my favorite. The LEM feels kind of like a Glock striker which I do like, but the V1 is nicer in my opinion.

That's why my vote was for LEM, closest commonality to what he has already.
