Anyone have Trijicons installed on a P7?

Where'd you get it done and what was the turn around/price like? I've read that only the inserts can be installed as Trijicon doesn't make the actual sight. True?

Just looking to have one in the front blade.

Contact Trijicon,......they used to install lamps for about $20 plus postage costs.
Can not remember if they required the sight to be removed.

Top Gun Supply has Trijicon night sights in stock for HK P7 PSPs, P7M8 and P7M13 if you want new sights.

Also try Novak Sights. No clue what they offer for the P7 series, sorry.

Trijicon makes the actual sight.

I've had Trijicons and MMCs on my P7.

I had a local gunsmith install them.

Oh, BTW, Trijicons new HD Night Sights look awesome, but they don't make them for the P7, and I called them and unfortunately they have no plans to make them for P7s...

Thanks for the feedback folks.

I'd like to keep the factory sight but have the inserts installed, or I'll put them in myself if I can buy them "loose".

Trijicon told me to send it off to tool tech when I tried a few years back and I think they wanted 150. I now have meps and a sight pusher and it hits just fine at poa/poi

I've installed the sights with a good drift punch, some leather, and a soft touch on one of my P7s that had lost its original white dots.

The rear sight required some fitting.  I would be interested in seeing if meprolight makes P7 sights better.  The long axis of the slide dimension was about five thousands too long.

I would not recommend that you do this without at minimum being willing comfortably and safely taking a file, to the rear sight.

Eventually, I am going to send in the original HK sights to have tubes installed, as they FIT perfectly, but for now, as a carry gun, the lack of blacking on the dovetail of the rear sight is acceptable.  .

I had Robar fit in a new set of trijicons when I had a PSP refinished - took 4 months...

I have also heard that there are different sizes of sights.  So it might be hit and miss on getting the right size from an aftermarket sight. Google the P7 websights.

I had my slide refinished and the sights installed at the same time.
