| I'm looking for a holster for my UPS 45 and have no idea on what kind to get. There are just too many to choose from out their. I would like it to be comfortable but more important able to run and move quickly without safety being compromised. Also, hold two extra mag’s if possilbe. A good price is idea I’m on bit of budget. ALL COMMENTS AND SUGGESTION ARE WELCOMED. |

You said a lot about your needs, but then again- you said nothing. Concealed carry? Law enforcement (patrol or tactical) ? IDPA/IPSC? What? Look at the friction retention Kydex models from "BladeTech" (Not kydex from other manufactrers) Look at the "BlackHawk" Serpa push-lever retention Kydex holsters. ($70) |

If you're thinking dead animal hide, there are a few options as well. My USP45f rides in a Dillon "master." It can be concealed, but it doesn't have to be. It's on OWB with an FBI cant, and it does hold the grip close enough to the love-handles that it can easily disappear underneath an untucked button down shirt. To be honest, I don't know who makes Dillon's leather, but for 45 bucks it was a hell of a deal, because the workmanship is up there with the Galco's I've fondled. I use it for IDPA, 3-gun and when I walk the dog after dark. It doesn't have a built in carrier for two mags, but they sell those as well, to attach to the other side of the belt. Don't forget about a good belt. Check out the Dillon Precision website. I've done a lot of business with them, and they always have top notch customer service. |

I vote for Fobus. It's secure, you can get it in paddle or belt or pivot style. It won't retain moisture like leather will if it gets wet & they also have mag carriers as well. Almost all sell for under $25. I use Fobus for IDPA/IPSC matches, no problems found on my end. My .o2 |

The first holster I tried was from holster.com Safariland. It was very cheap on line marked down to $20.00 bucks from $80. I guess that's just to make you feel good about buying it. Shipping time was excellent but the holster that arrived didn't fit my USP 45, although it the description said it did. I packed it up and shipped it back to Safariland about a month still with no refund. Next, I tried Cen-Dex Basic. The shipping was a little long 5-7 business days. When it came and I holstered my USP 45 it fit like a glove. IT didn't need any adjustments or break-in time which is great. The draw form the holster excellent. Cen-Dex is a really good choice. |
Unfortunately, Fobus does not have a holster for the USP45 full size. I asked Fobus about this, they said they do not have one, and didn't say when they're going to make one. I use Galso Fletch, and Bianchi Cobra Tactical T6500 |

I purchased a Cen-Dex holster and mag carrier for my G30. Unfortunately for me, I ordered it as an IWB. I don't use it at all. As an IWB for the wide Glock .45, it's very uncomfortable for me to wear. As far as service and quality...I'm very pleased with both. I may contact them and see what they could do to change my IWB to an OWB and see how that is. I kinda hate to have a nice holste like that lying around. For my HK .45, I got someone's second hand Galco pancake holster, and Bianchi paddle, both in leather. They're okay, but I'm sure there's something better out there than these. |
I thought their holster would work either compact or full size? |
