| Santa brought me an ambidextrious safety for my USP-T. Has anyone done a swap on their gun that has any tips? It looks pretty simple but we all know how things can fool you based on looks alone. |
| Well, no replies so I went ahead and jumped in. I figured there wasn't anything that I could screw up that a little money couldn't fix. The whole job start to finish was about 20 minutes. Driving the role pin through the lever was perhaps the hardest part. So for $95, including shipping, my USP-T is a little more lefty friendly |

I didnt see this until just now. But yeah the internals on the USPs look more confusing than they really are. And your right, getting propper alignment of all the "plates" are the hardest part to get the pin inserted.
Where did you get the ambi selector? I would like to try and find an ambi selector for the COMPACT USPs(if they even make them), but the compacts use the slim profile levers rather than the larger ones for the full sized pistols. |
