| I just got one in like new condition from a guy at work. Got it for a great price! Only problem is it has the safety/decocker on the right side of the gun. Any idea how hard this would be to swap out? Am I better off just trying to trade /sell it for a right handed model? |
| All you need is the correct right handed control lever and swap it out. They run about $50 last I checked. HK can do it or if you know your way around the pistol, you can do it yourself. Follow the detailed strip directions on HKPRO or any number of places on the net and go only as far as you need to to swap out the control lever. It is at most a 30 minute job and no real tools are needed, just something to press out pins with, NO HAMMER NEEDED. Any decent smith could do it for you too and if they charge more than $25 for swapping it out (you provide the lever) then they are crooks. |
