Anyone know if a barrel from a standard USP 45 will work in the tactical? I have no use for the threads sticking out of the slide and thought maybe I could use the shorter barrel from a standard model. If it will work does anyone have a standard barrel they would want to trade for a tactical, or does anyone know where to order a barrel?

I'd be interested in trading you barrles, but then there's the whole issue of serial numbers not matching up.

What about trading the entire slide and internals for my entire slide and internals so everything still matches up? What kind of condition is yours in?

mine is like new, but i like the sites, not sure about swapping slides, what kinda sites are you running?

If you're worried about all the serial numbers matching, what about the one on the frame

I have regular sights on my slide.

And yeah, the s/n on the frame totally slipped my mind.

If it works........I'll trade ya! If you bought an aftermarket barrel for the gun would you expect those serial numbers to match?

very low, i havent shot it and it appears brand new, but it probably has been shot. not sure what im going to do at this point, may get an olympic barrel and keep the tactical.

does anyone have any comments on olympic barrels, they are 1/2 the price of an h&k, are they 1/2 the quality?
