I am looking for info on a Colt Combat Commander Stainless Steel SE Model.

What are the differences between this and the XSE.  Anyone have some pictures?  What would the value be today with a NIB?

Thanks

Yes lots of XSE info, not so much SE.

Thanks for the help.

I don't follow Colts much, so 'scuse the ignorance.  My limited references don't list the "SE" at all, just "XSE".  Are you sure the "SE" is valid.  There's a complete page dedicated to the various XSE model s on Colts website, www.coltsmfg.com.  The California list of permitted pistols doesn't list the SE either, although the XSE is listed. Good luck.

The colt SE, wasn't that what colt called them before they changed the name to xse and stripped some of the aftermarket parts off them? I seem to remember that for some reason. If its true then you have a very nice colt commander with the same if not better treatment that comes on xse's produced now. You didn't say how much he wants for the commander but if you look around there are prices that no matter what the gun has or dosen't have its worth it because its a colt. Not sure of that theory myself but if it looks nice, you have the cash and want it go for it.

Are you sure you mean the "SE" and not the "XS" ?

This is an "XS".
