[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt frame size

Just picked up a 1964 Official Police and I'm not very enthused with the plastic grips. Can anyone tell me if the Python aftermarket grips will fit? Is the frame an I or E? Thanks

The medium size Colt frame is commonly called the "E & I" frame since there's very little difference.

The Colt Python grips will fit your Official Police.
