Looking to get little help on identifying this double action Colt revolver -- it is double action - serial number 26135 -- on the butt of gun it say US MC No1 135 -- which leads to be think 1905 marine corps but serial doesnt match those -- serial seems to match 1896 army / navy models -- honestly i dont have much of a clue on these older guns or colt revolvers -- a friend of mine is asking me to find out what i can it was his dads gun which he had for 40 something yrs he knows of -- can provide more pics if needed

well after some help and research it appears to be a m1909 from nov. 1909 -- anyone have an idea well best place to list it maybe?

Probably you'd get the most money auctioning it on Gunbroker.

The Model 1909 USMC is worth some significant money.
One in just 10% original finish is worth around $700.
