Gents,
I need some advice from you Colt gurus. I have a Combat Commander, SN 70BS93XXX that I bought used when I was in college many moons ago. I honestly don't know much about this gun aside from it's .45 ACP and has a ton of after market parts, including a Wilson bushing, full length guide rod, extrended safety and slide release, skeletonized trigger and hammer, Bo-Mar (I think) rear sight, and Hogue wrap around grips.
I'm not as excited about this gun as I was in college and it probably hasn't been fired in a decade. Aside from showing obvious wear and not having a front sight, what is a reasonable price be for me ask for this gun. Gunbroker has them anywhere from $600 - $1400. I'm leaning more towards the $650-700 range for an asking price. I just want to know if I'm in the price range or am I WAY out in left field. Pictures below:
Thanks in advance for your time, knowledge, and advice. I wish I knew more about this gun, but my brain is full right now.

I say $600 is about right. As a collector piece it has little value as the beaver tail is not reasonable. The front sight is not hard to put back on though.

Agree that $600ish would be about right. Lots of mods which could be just fine if well done, but could be a trainwreck.

Thanks for the input guys. It's up in the EE now for 6 bills. Thanks again.

I'm no expert but it looks like a pre 80 series (70 series). I have one (1979) Combat Commander, but it has all the original parts and the blueing is in 95%. I have decided to send it to Colt for a Tactical Package and hop on some Heinie sights.

The rear sight is made by Millet and that looks like a Pachmeyer main spring housing.
I'd say $600 but you might consider having a smith strip some of the parts off it and bring it up to speed with new sights and a refinish

I would keep it and like Mongo45 said "Bring it up to speed"

Again, I appreciate all the input. You guys are way smarter than I am...but I'm letting this one go as is.
